    Thanks for your message Swallowtail.

    Answers to your questions:

    The MFD is white.

I have an RNS 510 (sat nav). The iPod connector has part number 000 051 446 C (see photo). I rechecked and the iPhone does not charge when I select NO.

The MDI does charge the iPhone, even with the message, which is normal for a lot of non-Apple accessories I believe. You just select NO to the flight mode question, and it charges anyway, and works fine. Also what head unit / stereo do you have? And is your MFD display red or white?

I will be selling my Fiscon shortly, as I have ordered one of the Skoda Bluetooth units (as it has voice control, which I decided I would like).

Happy to assist you in getting it sorted / fitted if I can.

We were going to school and my son thought it was a good idea to get a TV monitors in the back of the car. I told him to look out the window and be thankful he is not walking. Funny he hasn't mentioned it since.

I think the years of being trapped in the back of my Father's 1974 Toyota Crown (butterscotch in colour of course) and listening to Johnny Cash has left me scared for life!

Mind you, the upside is that I can still sing "Burning Ring of Fire" like nobody else i know!

Yes I can see how this could blow out rather quickly. The idea was to put a TV tuner in and an In Motion module and then the monitor in the back for bub so he can watch TV or DVD.

But this could run into thousands

I'm sure Mav will chip in on this one... yes you can, there is an AV input / output, but it requires an external controller I think... and from there you need the screen(s). Gets very expensive very quickly...

It won't as the firmware isn't out to the dealers yet and there have been a few minor bugs so it's likely there will be another release soon.

I have the standard bluetooth from VW already (Nokia one I think)...
so will it work with that mike?
I don't think so, the Nokia/Parrot mikes are different impedance etc and you'd end up with the voice control being useless.

So you have had the FISCON plus in the past and are now swapping? Any reason or shortfalls with the FISCON unit that makes you want to swap? Which did you order?

I think this might help to understand their production runs and EOL of the different part numbers.

So which part number am I looking for is it the one ending in D or A or C.

From what I can understand the cheaper ones are the 1Z0 035 729A and 1Z0 035 729D this is because they are superseding them for the 1Z0 035 729C...true?
