It was great meeting the guys that showed up this afternoon. Alfie took 3 of us for a spin at the same time. Damn impressive man, and you can drive.
Best fun I've had with my clothes on in a long time.

alfie's car is pretty impressive, although you would be hard pressed to pick it out as a 'modified' car....about an inch lower, and some slightly bigger exhaust tips....but the noise that it makes is on another level....coming into the pit straight, with the noise bouncing off the pit building, it sounded fearsome!
four up with launch control and it still chirped the tyres...

alfie, where did you get the sway bars from?

I was lucky enough to see Alfie's black beast when I visited Evolve Technik about two weeks ago. The car sounded just great. I spoke with Neil for some considerable time about the process of the eprom upgrade. He advised that the 'tune' was actually done in Germany.
The problem for me is that I don't reside in Victoria, so when I returned home to SA began looking for a local tuner. I contacted Martin Donnon who had previously tuned my N14 Pulsar SSS. He managed to produce 103 KW at the wheels from a car that only produced 105 at the flywheel, no turbo in sight. Anyhow he said he would look into it and low and behold he rings to advise he can tune my R36. The difference is that the tune in this case is done in the UK. If all goes well it will be loaded Monday. He has suggested we Dyno before and after to confirm the differences. As soon as it is done the graph will be added.
BTW I discover he can do the vast majority of VDubs. He showed me a graph from a Mk5 Golf 2.o TDI. The differences were staggering, some 25 KW and a lot more torque.
