MY TUNED R36 PASSAT (Sedan)

How's it going guys? I am happy to report that i have just tuned my 09' R36.
I had it done by Evolve Technik and the guys boys down there did a fantastic job. I upgraded my ECU and i gained 16KW and 30Nm. As soon as i put my foot down, i felt the diffrence. There was more torque at low end and when i rev past 5000rpm the car felt more punchy. The end result was that i got a better power band.
Has anyone here done any performance upgrades to their R36?
Next on my to do list is to upgrade the Exhaust System and Air Filter.

If you don't mind me asking what did that cost you? What aboout warranty and do you know if Evolve Technik have someone they know up on the Gold Coast?

Guy Harding is the man to speak to - he is the distributor!
Oettinger has a warranty of sorts, check his website. He posted a link recently with the warranty info too, so run a quick search and you should find it

and to VASR36, yes i am still covered. What Vw don't know won't hurt them right? They didn't detect my ECU upgrade when i sent it in for the 5000km inspection.

Just have a think about the fact that you've posted here that you've modded your car and included your rego number in your signature.

And no I'm not being paranoid. Mazda read the MPS club forums and specifically picked out one guy with mods and rejected a warranty claim based on his mods that he had posted about on the forum but had not told them about.

I'm just suggesting that you be aware. The forums are public access.
