Installed the aftermarket DRLs the other day.. Easy enough process (I've fiddled with previous cars).
The car has thrown a CEL
scan with VAGCOM has returned P0030 and P0050 which is the heating circuit on front left and right O2 sensors? It just so happened to throw it once I had tapped my fuse (which I think was #33 in the engine bay). Coincidence?

Was it aftermarket replacement DRL's in the original headlights or the LED DRL's that replace the factory indicators with the White and Amber led's?Comment

Yes the aftermarket ones that replace the standard indicator.
Turns out my CEL was due to not putting the fuse in the correct terminal on the fuse tap... All good now! Installed some CANBUS 'error free' Cree LED's in the standard drl's in the headlight..... Turns out they're not so error free
