  • MY15 Changes (Dynaudio discontinued)

VW has released specific information on the changes to the CC for Model Year 2015 (commencing with cars built week 22, 2014).

Only a couple of changes; they are:

    • New design for BlueMotion Technology badge
2008 MkV Volkswagen Golf R32 DSG
2005 MkV Volkswagen Golf 2.0 FSI Auto
    Sold: 2015 8V Audi S3 Sedan Manual
Sold: 2010 MkVI Volkswagen Golf GTI DSG

That sucks... Are they replacing it with another brand or there will be no premium audio system at all?

No replacement that I am aware of.

To be honest, the Dynaudio is (IMHO) a bit overrated. Yes, the audio is good, and the notes are crisp and clear, but no more so than the $350 set of speakers I have at home plugged into my TV......

Is it worth it, as an option? Probably not...........

1981 Honda Civic hatch. Proper AUTO REVERSE cassette player. AM/FM with Stereo speakers. Four (yep, FOUR!) speed manual. Full cloth trim seats. HALOGEN lightbulbs! Factory options fitted: rear wipers and washer, "Go Fast" wheel covers & electric front windows.

Maybe it's all now standard!! (or more likely it wasn't selling so they are just cutting it).

If it has an engine or heartbeat it's going to cost you.

Dynaudio is great but for the additional cost, arent there better aftermarket options?

Tell you what though, I'd love to see the next CC come with the option of the biturbo 176kW 500nm 4motion. A few extra gears in the DSG wouldn't go astray either. It'd be a beautiful long distance cruiser I think!
