  • Disc Rotor Size - V6 Passat CC

    Hey guys,
My brake Rotors starting to get a bit thin.
Was going to order a new set but there are a bunch of different sizes.
Anyone know which size was used in the MY09 Passat CC V6 3.6?
    Cheers

    You will need to confirm your PR codes. But here is a start;

Front: 345mm (possibly the later model with the higher output V6) or 340mm

Rear: 310mm (vented) or 282mm (solid)

Assuming you will be doing Pads and Rotors, get yourself some ATE Ceramic Pads and matching ATE Rotors. You will not regret it...

Info below from the ATE Website:

    Webshop
MY18 VW Passat Alltrack Wolfsburg Edition + Panoramic Sunroof + some extra goodies... (Pure White)
MY17 ŠKODA Superb 206TSI 4x4 + Sunroof + Tech Pack + Comfort Pack + some extra goodies... (Moon White)

My PR codes indicate that I have 345mm rotors.
Are pads specific to this size?
Do I need some sort of wear sensor as well?

      Thanks!

I have the same car, and yeah when I changed my discs, it was a PITA finding the right sizes.
If it helps, mine were 345mm on the front and 310mm at the back.

Pads were ATE 13.0470-7200 (which has a wear sensor wired into it) and ATE 13.0470-2887.2

        Of note,
You will not be able to do the pads (properly) without a scan tool that can retract the pads for the back change.
I got an OBDEleven to do this. If your not doing it yourself make sure the workshop knows about this.
