Hi there
My 2010 Tiguan clocks 110,000km already, I think it's time to get the timing belt and water pump although they said this job needs to be done at 120,000km. Get a quote from local mechanic, it is gonna cost me $850 for parts and labour. Does it sound right or should I shop around?
Also, engine check light turns on, get it scanned and got P261A error code. Been told the auxiliary electric pump needs to be replace, another $750 for parts and labour. Way expensive since the pump alone cost less than $100 on ebay.
Oh the reverse light (the little ones on the rear bumper) needs to replaced as well, a nice lady hit me from the back in the car park. This one I think I can diy but I do not know the part number to shop.
Appreciate any comments and inputs. Cheers
