Do the idler pulley, tensioner and water pump while you're at.

Maybe you are but in the front pages of each of my two VW service books ( Not the Owners manual) it states very clearly at what K's to check and also when to replace the belt. I have no doubt it will say the same in yours.
But then I suppose its easier to just ask on here and get several different answers which may or may not be correct.2021 Kamiq LE 110 , Moon White, BV cameras F & B

Mate no true aussie bloke ever reads the instructions!
To be fair to the OP, this is a forum for sharing info, and the owners manual is pretty verbose...2014 Skoda Yeti TDI Outdoor 4x4 | Audi Q3 CFGC repower | Darkside tune and Race Cams | Darkside dump pDPF | Wagner Comp IC | Snow Water Meth | Bilstein B6 H&R springs | Rays Homura 2x7 18 x 8" 255 Potenza Sports | Golf R subframe | Superpro sways and bushings | 034 engine mounts | MK6 GTI brakes |

Interesting... I wonder if the belts being fitted to the Australian tigs is any different to the belts being fitted to German tigs. I have a the 2010 tig and changed my belt at 175k. The recomendation is 180k or 5 years. I know that pre 2010 tigs the recomendation was 120k or 5 years.
