Diverter Valve Location

Alright guys, strap yourselves in because it's stupid question time.

Can anyone tell me where the diverter valve is located on a facelifted Tiguan? (or pre I suppose they are the same)
and how to access it?

Be gentle, it's my first turbo car/vw and I'm a bit lost.

Have a look there first, i guess. Supposed to be a bit of a pain to get to, but is your reason for wanting to find it's location so as to put an aftermarket one in? I got my mechanic to install a GFB one a couple of years ago while i was getting a service done & there was no extra time charged from them.

Thanks mate. Yeah I figured it's on the drivers side behind the footwell, so I suppose if I jack it up on that side I'll get some access. Yeah I'm putting on a gfb and checking that I have a rev d dv.

Having the car lowered on eibach springs on Wednesday now so I may do just that

Got impatient and did it myself over the long weekend. Bloody hell what a tight little spot to get to!
