Found an interesting feature last night.

When you have the windscreen wipers set to on (not intermittent where you can select the wiper speed) it will actually slow the wiper speed when the car is stopped, for example, at traffic lights.

This is pretty nifty since usually the wipers don't need to be as fast compared to when you are going at say 60km/h.

Doesn't even need the comfort pack to work.

Installed a CTS intake I purchased second hand off a mk6 gti owner. Produces nice intake noise which is a lot more audible than the apr carbonio I previously had.

Getting a whining noise at WOT, which I suspect is coming from my DV.
Any recommendations for which DV/bov I should upgrade to?

Hi Nic01Q, I'm running a CTS DV and its working well, previously ran the GFB DV+. Others on the forum have recommended the forge DV also. The revised OEM piston DV is definitely stronger than previous designs however if you are tuned might increase wear and tear.VW Tiguan 162 TSI Highline w/ R-Line & DAP. Sold mine today (technically yesterday) and will be handing over the keys next week.

Going to a couple who are impressed with the technology that's in a 2011 car and hopefully appreciate what a great package VW had devised.

It is a pity the resale value of the car does not reflect this.

Anyhow ... have enjoyed the time spent on this particular forum and sharing the journey that most of us have gone through over the years in making the Tig more enjoyable and special to own and drive.

Will be leaving the VW stable and unlikely to return any time soon.

Nevertheless, my only remaining connection to Watercooled will be my Custom POIs.

It's a sad day when you hand your keys over - I still miss my 125TSI.Originally posted by aussietig View PostSold mine today (technically yesterday) and will be handing over the keys next week.

Good luck with your new car. It's a pity that so few gen1 Tig owners are going onto gen2 Tigs. The problem is the gen 1 was such a good value package that the gen2 had a very high benchmark to reach.Originally posted by aussietig View PostAu revoir and I wish everybody the best with their continued Tig ownership!
