  • No Acceleration, car in limp mode?

Hi, my wife came home this afternoon telling me the car had no acceleration.
i turned it on and it started vibrating and engine was struggling.
I also noticed it had no oil. Could this be the problem?
I run a diagnostic scan and this is what came up:

I'd be looking at the faults that occurred yesterday. There's several errors that were earlier in the vehicle history. Sorry can't be much more help but I'd be looking at the throttle position error as a start. Have you changed/upgraded the accelerator pedal?

Yeah, have a look at the throttle pedal checked out. Abit strange to have both senders throw faults as the internal circuits and external wiring are separate from each other.

I was driving the car earlier with sprint booster on and changed it back to normal before the wife took it. Might be a good idea to remove it.

Yep that would be the first thing to check. Could even be a dodgy connection/connector unplugged. Worst case is to remove it and see if the problem goes away.

Clear the faults out. And see what comes back. Google any fault codes and see what the Ross tech wiki says. Control pressure not reached could be a boost pipe off. E u sees lots of air go into engine, but most gets blown overboard. Codes in abs and auto are due to engine faults so ignore them for now.

If it sounds like a Subaru, a coil pack has gone. Causing the shaking.

Not the coil pack, it says engine malfunction workshop on display. Don't even have enough power to drive it up car ramps.

SO you have changed the coilpacks?

Clear the faults and start it up again to see what's still there. Might need the throttle body aligning?

Did you take out the sprint booster with the ignition on?

What did the ross tech wiki tell you to look at?

i think it might be throttle body.EPC light is on.Took out the sprint booster with car off and changed the coil pack. Will need to find out have to do a throttle body alignment with ross tech cable.

Unplug the accelerator pedal and clean the contacts and replug, did the trick in my Jetta. Had intermittent combination of EPC & CEL no power on and off.

that's the first thing i did with no luck. I just turned the car on and the epic light went off and heaps of oil and smoke came out of the exhaust. Calling tow truck tomorrow morning i think.
