  • Timing belt change in Canberra area

Now that VW says to replace the timing belt at 105,000 km (rather than the 210,000 km given in the service book) my 2011 diesel Tiguan is due for a belt change. As I am not happy with the standard of work done at my local dealer where I purchased the car, can anyone recommend who to go to in Canberra (or who not to go to) for this work. Car was not purchased in Canberra so I have no experience of the Canberra VW dealer. Thank you

Not that I have any personal experience but Canberra VW Centre gets mentioned quite regularly with good reports.

Hard to believe you even persisted with Lennock - hopeless.
Please call Darren (who runs the workshop) or Taylor (who runs the reception) at the Canberra VW Centre and relax.
They are the place where I took all four VWs and my Audi SQ5 since purchase.
They are professional and VAG specialists/enthusiasts.
On my way out there this morning with the new Tig.

Excellent - certain it will be a good experience.
I gave them a heads-up you would likely get in touch.

There's another good VW guy in queanbeyan - buggered if I can remember his name though.
