    Mrs tigger73 has been complaining that it doesn't go as well as the other one used to and that the gearbox doesn't shift as well... So looks like I might have to invest in some DSG software as well

      OK quick update. Had the car tuned and run at the recent dyno day in Adelaide.



      A nice 24kwaw gain and it's noticeably quicker.

      As an interesting note my 125TSI stage 2 made the same power figure on the same dyno.

          Tune is RD Technik stage 1. It's a nice linear tune. I've had APR on the previous car and it tends to be punchier down low but fall off at the top end. The RDT tune just pulls all the way to redline. It feels more factory but just stronger and freer running. I didn't get an overlay done but I'll plot the before and after onto the same sheet.

          Yes the timer I've used is a G-tech unit. It belongs to another forum member.

            Interesting! Will have to find out of they're available in syd to compare prices

                Do you know if RD Technik has a stage 1 tune available for the Tiguan 162? Sounds great.
                Also if anyone in Brisbane, Sunshine Coast does it?

                            Took off the front number plate mounting bracket. Just used some clips to fill the holes in the bumper.

                              Ok just painted some cabinet screw covers/stickers with some touch-up paint. I've stuck these on to cover the holes in the bumper but will have to wait until morning to take some decent photos.

                                I've been thinking of doing the same to my tig for a while now.

                                Will be interested to know how the stickers hold up over time.
