Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before. We are learning together here, so please be patient. If you have questions, please post them here. If you have worked something out and can provide an answer,

  • Mechanic in Sutherland Shire

    Hi guys,

Just wondering if anyone can recommend a good mechanic in the Sutherland Shire? I'm a Tiguan owner who has just moved to Kirrawee.

    Thanks!

No VW specialists that I'm aware of. VW Village at Kingsford is about the closest.

CVWC at Kiama might be worth trying.

I work in the SW & go to Camden GTI.

Don't even bother with the VW dealer - they are the most incompetent bunch of numbats you'll encounter. VW at Rockdale are much better.

Don't bother with the Sutherland dealership. If you're not buying a brand new car or forking money over for service without asking questions they won't give you the time of day.

Personally I trek up to Volksmüller up in anangrove when I need stuff done. It's far but they get things done

            I'm in the same boat...

VW Village is probably your best bet, I haven't found anyone in The Shire yet.

In regards to Camden GTI, the less I say about them the better.
