and on MFD many new options...


And on the measuring blocks on #19Gateway, Chanel 6 Futage detection fault code is 0.0, with units without DAS is 4.0 like on my previous post..

Firstly great write up and credit for effort. Just so I can gather all this inside my head everybody out there will pay $$$ for a feature that warns you to take a coffee break after driving so long or after 2hours? Please save your money and start using your brains!!!

Yes it may be logical for people to take a break every 2 hours, but sometimes you need reminding before you get tired. I do a fair amount of country driving/longer trips and I think this feature would be useful. I try to do things like schedule in fuel stops to break up the trip, however getting a reminder is probably not a bad thing.

Also the other thing for some of us is the challenge and enjoyment from playing with our cars and getting some feature working that may have only been available in other models or regions.

I am unable to see the 2 photos of your Gateways.

If you have a VCDS cable you may try them out using the guidelines I wrote up in the opening post to check firstly if your instrument panel supports it and secondly code it as per your original gateway.

If they don't work just put your original gateway module back in. I don't think any damage will be done to the other modules if it does not work.

Just remember to save a copy of your "autoscan' BEFORE your exchange the Gateway modules.

Maybe post a copy of your Autoscan on the forum and we can give a better informed opinion if f it will work with your Tiguan?
