Well now the confusion really sets in..... after trying the myriad things as mentioned earlier to determine the cause of the rough idle, running and hesitation under power etc, I eventually got the sh*ts with it on Wednesday so just shut the bonnet and left it sitting until last night.....
This morning I re-loaded the tune, did a throttle adaption and f*ck me if I'm lying but it's going really well!! It's pulling harder than a blind man at a peep show so I am at a loss to what is going on now as I still don't know what the cause was..........................
Hey, it (the ECU) is a F.R.E.D and sometimes what they do defies logic! Perhaps reloading tune (like rebooting pc) has cleared whatever bug was in there?!

Yep the SQ5 is the ducks nuts but I have to admit..... I took a 2011 Merc C250CDI for a strop the other day.... all I can say is WOW! that 2.1l twin turbo diesel hauls ass! mind you nothing on an SQ5 but it's going for about $46k so it's under half the price of an SQ5 and beautifully refined.
