yeh they are Ramee haha
I have managed to source some ST coilovers from the US. They are currently on their way over to perth for me
Nice!. I believe they are very similar to KW V1 s. Looking forward to hear your thoughts on them. Even though I may not be able to go that direction. Plan is to somehow stop modding this Tig before it reach 60k kms. haha.

So one of my Tigs Xenon lights started to playing up. I have to switch off and on again to get the light working again , it is the right hand side lower beam light. After about 5 mins it goes off again giving a bulb out warning. Then I got a 6000K color temp pair of Xenons form an Ebay seller in Sydney and replaced the both low beam bulbs but then soon realized they are nowhere near bright as original OEM stuff. With some good advise and recommendation from another forum member 99Reza I got some good quality pair of Xenons, Philips X-treme Vision D3S bulbs from powerbulbs.com.
OEM Xenon bulb. They are D3S verity. Not sure about color temp but should be close to 4300K.
And this is Ebay Xenons from China
And this is Philips X-treme Vision.. 50% more Powwerrr ..

OMG, how useless is that 6000k chinese one! and you wonder how on earth do they (anyone with retrofitted illegal HIDs and 6000k or 9000k HID bulb replacement) see at night?
i think Merc (engineers should know their stuff decently) goes as far as 5000k only for whiter lights.

Yeah, those 6000K lights and above are pretty useless in night. Actually my DRLs emit more light than them at night in close proximity! hehe ..
5000K seems to be the best compromise between looks and performance. Merc people get most things right (except that old A180/200 s)

When I was buying my HIDs I asked for something around 3000k as I wanted it to look as close to factory "yellow" as possible. The vendor, who appeared to know what he was talking about, claimed that the light colour had no effect on the light output / effectivness. I don't know if he was right or not - I just didn't want blue tinged lights.
Possibly the the Chinese lights would be crap whether they were 2000k or 8000k???? (Kelvin is a measure of colour temperature, not light output.

Yeah if lights with different color temps has same Lumens they should have similar light output. However some research shows human eye is more sensitive to some color ranges than others, and reflectivity is different from color to color as well, so who knows? Also I read somewhere if color temps is going up, Lumens must come down according to laws of physics (energy consistency) if bubs have same wattage. 35W is more common.
If we forget the science jargon, I can assure that China Xenons are crap because within two weeks one bulb stoped working completely, even though they come with one year warranty I didn't even bother.
