Yeah! amazing if RS3 going to be like that it is great !

I would rather buy an old R32 and twin turbo charge it then remove the prop shaft and put an electric motor from a Prius coupled to the haldex with and a battery pack in the back for "Torque Fill" and traction... enough playing with this SUVs and sh!!t. Time to play with big boys!! hahaha!

Got two new parcels today. One is a boost sensor and another have three deadcats!! (sorry! three windscreens for my gopro mic)



So early morning I jump to the work and took the old sensor out and replaced with the new universal boost sensor.


Oh unfortunately with the new sensor gauge read boost little bit higher about 4 PSI in normal atmospheric conditions.


But nothing to worry about it, simple 10k trimpot is all that takes to bring it down to correct level. These boost gauges are nothing but little voltmeters so we can reduce voltages send from the boost transducer to show correct calibrated value in the gauge using a variable resister as a voltage divider.



Voila! gauge reads boost correctly! 0 PSI engine off, -21 idling and 27 -28 PSI peak boost at full throttle in 4th gear as APR claims.




As usual I dissemble the broken boost sensor to see inside .. Nothing special two op-amps and a pressure sensor and a small regulator in tiny PCB board.

3D printing a car tablet mount

One of my mates got a hobby 3D printer to play around with his 3D modeling skills. So I asked him to print a dash mount (trim piece) for my car tablet install. And I recorded it in to a time laps video for fun. Piece came out nicely but have to do some finishing and painting before final install.

Just sanded little bit to get the piece to this level.


Back of the mount. Tablet will go inside and lock in there by few clips.


Wanted some mat color so plasti dipped it.


Test mounting in the car. Fit like a glove


This time I left a slot for the tablet front camera too. In car video calling anyone

by the way did you find that KW coilovers ? There are some in Ebay , bit expensive though!
