I tried looking for some other photos of these extensions on a Tig but couldn't find anything else other than their mock-up photo on the net.

Are you looking at getting them painted up? Or just leave them plain?

Be interested in how you go. It looks like they are fitted onto a pre-facelift (2008-2011) Tig in the photo.

But I can't go for that low so I will be running with 18/19 wheels to flush with the guards. I will probably leave them as it is if finishing is ok. But maybe get the side plastics and bumpers painted to match with the looks.

Yes! But haven't decide which one to get yet. Will have to wait until I get these to figure out the wheel offset and width.

Good thinking. Given that you haven't lowered it as severely as the APR stage 3+ car you may even be able to run your wheels out to the edge of the flare extensions. Guy ran into rubbing issues with the top of the tyre hitting the underside of the guard (remember it's a big fat block of metal/plastic under there)....

So even though you'll have some nice big flared guards on your Tig you may find you can't can fill them out with wheel/tyre because you'll end up being limited by the existing metal arch which doesn't move. What you probably ought to do is roll the guards but that's not an easy thing to do without some major work to reshape/remanufacture the plastic mouldings too.

I'll be interested to hear how you get on with this project.

If all else fails just get the little extensions that they supply overseas to fit the 19" Savannahs and keep the tyres within the metal. I've been looking at options for mud guards and the little guard extensions but didn't want it to look too fussy.

Given that I am not going to lower the car much (only 35mm or so) I think I wouldn't have much issues with the plan. I was searching for wheel options and 19 x 9 ET 25 looks like good candidate for the job. And there are plenty of TTRS rep wheels in ebay with that specs for 1k mark. Also Enkei has similar spec wheels but those are more like 2.5k

Yeah try and keep to fairly standard sizes/offsets and you'll have the best range of aftermarket wheels/tyres to choose from.

Concave profile and custom offset from +20 to +45. 9.5 width will be a winner. Shame they didn't bring the silver faced version.

Reasonably priced as well.

That looks great!! Aggressive offset with thicker tires will look really good.
