The V 3.0 reduces the compressor flutter noise (which some epople don't like), it actually drives seamlessly. It will be a while until they release it for the CCZ & CAW engines though.

Mk7 Golf R is launched! I tried to keep calm myself not bother with it but then received an email from VW
Then download the broacher to check the Aus specs ..

The problem is that you have to spend 52k + ORC on the base R then then another 2.5-ish to get stage 2 to get sub 5 seconds.
That has always been the selling point for the Tiguan in that it is a very cheap way (40k) to get Golf R level's of performance but with the extra functionality of the SUV.Last edited by team_v; 15-04-2014, 08:56 AM.Comment

Yes, I thought when cars become faster and faster the difference could become more apparent too. But this 0.2 sec gap is same as for Mk6 golf R as well. Yes. But with mk7 I think stage 1 will able to go under 5 sec. I am saying 4.6 sec 0 - 100 would be possible with Stage 1, considering low weight of the car. With Stage 2 hopefully will be able to match same power as AMG A45 and being lighter than A45 I think will go under 4.5 sec.Originally posted by team_v View Post

K04 and Fuel Economy
After I installed the K04 did not have a chance to do a proper long distance drive until yesterday. So yesterday night I did around 90 km drive to a friends place and hit a fuel economy of 7.6 L/km average with two people on board. Actually I never had sub 8 L/km average before with Tiguan specially with stage 1 and 2. I remapped the Tig as soon as I got it so not sure about stock figures.
This is about 70% Highway and 30 % normal/city drive.
