MY12 style tail light

Here's the LED MY12 style tail light for the 1st gen Tiguan. I quite like the MY12 tail light now. I think it cleared up the rear nicely, not as busy as the old style tail light.
Lights are plug and play, fitted about a week now, no issues so far.

Hi there thanks for posting this up. I was in talks to buy them but backed out after they had problems that needed to be sorted out. They told me they had to make a modification for a customer problem (I'm guessing indicator/turn signal issue) and just told me it was sorted.

Can you do me a favour and tell me where you bought them from please? Was it a Chinese company called Winpower?

Also what year is your car because the later models have sensitive wiring so could easily through up an error for some of us. Oh and can you post up more pics please??

here's a couple of photos with the new tail lights, yes. the lights from winpower, LED brake lights, LED turn signals, normal fog light.
Mine is 2009 model, it hasnt' throw up any error codes apart from the fog light because our's RHD the fog is on different side. I've disabled the fog, so no error code anymore.

Would anyone be interested in a group buy if I can get the manufacturer of these lights to make them in a right hand drive version? I'm hestitating on a potential purchase due to the fact the fog light is on the wrong side for the UK and that is a definate MOT failure.

What is the installation process ? wire plug-in straight forward or more involved..

Did they manage to get the fog light sorted? i.e. swapped side?

How do you code out the fog light?
I have the hella blackouts and they throw the code due to the fog light being on the wrong side.
