It is important to note that when lowering hte car it will camber the top of the wheels inward.

However, in QLD it is still illegal if any part of the tyre rests outside of the bodywork so you would still need arch extensions.

Looks great! Maybe put on some silver rimskins to protect those rims.
        How long did fitment take?

Wheels are looking good as are the headlamps and other little touches you've done. Any more more full frontal shots please?

              Thanks guys,

the wheel arch fender trim is next on the agenda.
Rimskin looks like something that I need when the missus are driving

Wheels are from eBay, the same seller sold me that set.

Which fender trim are you going for? R Line? They aren't cheap at all! I wanted to go big arch and colour code as seen on the Caractere and ABT flagship models but not at that price. Keep thinking the Tiguan looks too narrow and deeper, wider arches would have helped achieve a wide more aggressive look.

Do you have a clear car bra on?
                  Headlights where and how much?
If you decide to get fenders let me know if you get a good deal as tests next on my list!

It's plastidip, a spray on liquid tape that I use as a temp solution to stop stone chips while traveling interstates.

Lights are from aliexpress and around $600.

maybe a few of us can do a group buy together on the fenders.

That looks awesome Baboo, might have to get me some of these Savannah's.

They fit nicely as well. Do they rub on the guards though?

                            Savannahs really looks good

No rubbing at all, the Tig is not low enough to touch the guards.

Apologies if i missed the post but just how far lowered is your Tiggy?

Good to hear they dont rub as i reckon they fit it perfectly.

Have you noticed any difference in the way the car drives?

I love the way mine drives as it gives you lots of confidence no matter what the conditions are. I would hate to get some Savannah's only to find the way the car drives changes drastically.

I put some 19's on my 2007 Civic, which i also had lots of confidence in, only to find it became a wheel spinning piece of crap in the wet that i was too scared to take any corner in no matter what speed i was doing. Needless to say they lasted 12 hours on the car and i gave them back as i feared for my life, and thats no exageration

                                ido09s,

Just lowered 30-35mm. H&R springs actually rides better than stock springs. H&R is smoother on stock 16" soaked up small bumps well because it's progressive rate. It also hardens up when cornering so it's pretty good. Big bumps of course you can feel more.

Lowered springs with 19" I feel it brings the feeling back to stock springs. Not as smooth, can feel little bumps, but it's a trade off if you want the looks!

I find with your experience with your civic might be the tyres instead of the wheel size. Always get good tyres period.
