The question is, are you going to do the Octavia also?
Yes and that time is without L.C. - just put the pedal flat and be nice to the DSG.

I reckon my Tig would give a stock Octavia RS a run for it's money.

Not sure my wife would be too keen on an Octy though - doesn't like wagons.

          No question about that
The stock Octavia VRS hatch in Euro tune does 7.5 sec 0 to 60
We are a tad down on tune due to our fuel and the wagon is a tad heavier
I was doing ~6.75 with stage 1 (about a second faster than stock)
I have not timed stage 2 as yet (really need a clean start to put the power down)

Yes that's the challenge with FWD cars - GTI also starts spinning wheels once it's tuned and gets worse the more you do to it.

That's where the Tig has a distinct advantage being AWD is much quicker off the line (despite the extra weight) though top end is lower due to the aero effect of a brick.

Even better news, it definitely passed the "wife test" on my end - "oh.. that noise.. is that all?"

Suggest you get onto Simon at Viezu (sales@viezuaustralia.com.au). I think they're waiting for all hardware to be ready to "release" it together as a complete kit.

However, I know they can do DP's right now and they will have full exhausts really soon (just waiting on the next shipment to land).

The CAI and FMIC are still not quite there as a "kit". The CAI needs a little bracket to mount the washer bottle filler and the FMIC needs some silicone hoses for fitting.

Though I'm sure if you hassled him he'd sell you the kit for Mk6 Golf and you could adapt it (or do what I've done and tuck the washer filler tube out of the way).

So at the moment it's down to silly stuff like hoses and brackets which are holding up the release. All the major bits are in place though.

If enough people give him a hard time (i.e. pre-orders) then they'll have to get the last bits finalised so they can start shipping kits out the door.
