Will be interested to hear the twin pipe catback and know the pricing.
Also if it is able to attatch to the APR downpipe.

The quality on that exhaust looks superb.
Yes HPX manufacture all the HSV, FPV and Walkinshaw (+a few others) exhaust systems so they know a thing or two about turning out a good product.

Looking forward to when the first Tig exhausts come off the production line.

Hopefully they will have a bit of barrrp and a burble.

So after a mix of city and country driving I am so glad that I've installed a flappy paddle steering wheel before getting the tune. Running with flappy paddles in manual mode makes the car so much more driveable.

Since putting the DP and tune on, it actually highlights the issues with both D and S mode.

D mode is OK if you just want to putter around - good for the wife or if you've got other people in the car. You seldom get much into the power band so it pretty much drives the same as "stock". So it really doesn't take advantage of the tune except of you really plant the foot but then you don't really want to do that too much driving around the city.

S mode is good on country roads - leave in S and it will "cruise" at 80km/hr in 7th. Put the foot down and it will drop back to 3rd and get to 110 in quick time. The only down side is that I'm going to have to invest in an anti lift kit or something to stop the front end from lifting every time

I have found in S mode that from standing start it does hang in gear a little too long and you're better off upshifting 500rpm sooner.

So until I get a DSG tune that's why I use manual mode and the flappy paddles when driving most of the time - makes the whole experience really enjoyable.

Thanks for the update! Must say that the 'Pro Kit' springs i recently had installed sorted that situation beyond my expectations!

Yes I'm looking at some suspension mods to improve the handling. Would also consider lowering the car a little and the Eibach springs seem to be the way to go - a little lower but not too much.

Also front and rear sway bars and if that doesn't fix everything then an ALK.

Seems like along time but the Tig is going in for round 2 hardware fitments early next week... and a new tune file to match as well.

Hope to have some more news for everyone waiting on hardware shortly...

                    Yes me too

I've asked specifically for DSG farts on gear changes and the hardware guys have assured me I'll get my wish once the full exhaust goes on.... can't wait.

The intake may take a bit of work to fit as the washer bottle filler is in the way for the VAR design CAI. But I'm willing to go through a bit of pain to fill my washer bottle if I need to in order to fit the intake. We'll find out how this one goes.

Other thing to go on is the intercooler. This one "should" be a straight bolt on job... but I've heard that one before too.

Will definitely post some photos and video/audio when I get the car back.

Not all the parts are ready and time/space constraints have meant things have needed to be prioritised. Sad story of the Tig.

                                Hi guys

The TBE's were meant to be in now but it seems some sort of issue (I'm yet to ascertain what) has meant they haven't come in to stock. We can custom build a run of 3" DP's for the next few weeks, but the final production run will be stock in Mid March - same as the Polo TBE's.

The CAI is being looked at again today before the current Tig owner has to take the car so we'll have DP/CAI and tune available for them, however, the FMIC will need a 3 day window which we only have the car for 1.5 days so there isn't going to be enough time to sort it on this occasion.

                                Offer still stands in VIC.

Any 2.0 TSi Tig Owner in VIC who wants a FMIC they'll get it for $999 as a test fit with a FREE tune if they get it to us ASAP so we can finish what we need to finish. Let's hope that helps move things along as pulling a car interstate isn't logistically the best way forward.
