Did my second 9w2 installation yesterday in half the time i took to do the first one. Like tigger 73 i installed both units under the drivers seat so if issues happen they are easily accessible.
In both cases I managed to run the mic wire to the roof light without removing the A pillar trim as I understand you need to replace the old lugs on the trim with new ones according to the official manual.
Also had issues joining up the canbus wires to the quad connector at the back took time to remove the original metal connectors and join the wires but it looks rather neat with no splices.
BTW can anyone tell me why the 2 CANbus wires are twisted together?
Coding was required for both units but this was a mere formality as I was given some coding instructions by the ebay seller. Bluetooth streaming works well as well as the basic telephone in call reception. Not bad value for $200 each considering what dealers were quoting me for a year ago to do much the same.
