Agreed, however I'm surprised this was not attended too earlier!

Just spoke to two VW dealerships and both said they dont know of any such update, or any such issue.

They want to see the car, min charge $180 to look at it... and no guarantee of software update.

Disappointing!

You have an option to take it to an independent VW specialist or Automatic transmission specialised workshop. If you were in SA I could scan your car and check if there was any update available for your VIN.
