VW Tiguan Eyelids

Hi there,

Does anyone know where to buy eyelids for VW Tiguan (pre-facelifted model)? I could only find chrome ones from China and they are 'eyebrows' which sit on the hood side as opposed to the headlamps side.

Hey Haywire, I've been looking at these for a while:

VW Tiguan (07 on) :KAMEI VW Tiguan light trims, top (2), paintable, 44287

You can get them here too:

Kamei VW Tiguan Scheinwerferblenden Audi Tuning, BMW Tuning, VW Tuning, Opel Tuning, Mercedes Tuning, Mini Tuning

It appears that the only thing you have to do is paint them...

It might be worth going in on a group buy as these places don't seem to ship outside of Europe/UK regularly. I'm in if you are!

Like it!!! All I need to do now is just to check the aftermarket headlamps has the same form as the original ones. If they are (I hope they are), I am definitely quite keen to get these! I will come back to u once I confirm that. A group buy sounds fantastic!

I noticed they show them on the Xenons, this would be the same profile as the halogen lights I assume?

A friend who has the aftermarket headlamps that i got same it appears to be the same but he's gonna send me a profile photo to me soon so that I can compare w the factory halogen ones or not. Chances are the same top line profile as the originals.

I don't know why you would bother? Do they add to light concentration on the road? Are they a legal accessory? I have BiXenons myself and wonder for wwhat reason I would cover a portion of the reflector on these brilliant lights.

I would be surprised if they are different - with VW's capacity to recycle parts and all...

Edit: It says they are for both types of headlight on the Kamei site

Seems to me that the eyelids should fit the aftermarket headlamps I bought from the pics. Yes pls do keep us updated on the bulk prices from them! I'd be keen if the price isn't too bad.
