I look forward to this info with eager anticipation.

Have been going to order a new one but without pricing, specs and options, it makes considering starting the the haggling process a waste of time !!!

Does anyone know if the Dynaudio will be available as an option this year, as strangely VW deleted it for 2010/2011?(it is listed as dynaudio Contour,if that means any different for the updated model)
And also if Lane Assist,Dynamic light Assist, keyless entry etc, or the same options that are available in Europe, be available for Australia?

I think we just have to be patient... From what I have read, Keyless Entry will be a option but Off Road Tech won't be any more - so I guess I have saved the $300 that it would have cost - but will be spending (the unknown) extra on Keyless to more than make up for it !

Specs and options are there but prices have not been released yet to the dealers. Shouldn't be far off.

Interesting that they bumped up both the TSI engines another 8kw.
Should have an R version with the 189kw though.
I am actually surprised they didn't bring out a 1.4TSI variant here as they had them in the Mk 1 Tiguan in Europe.

Bluemotion TDI is a good thing

FWD model is purely to fight off the other brands with a FWD version of their softroader counterparts.
But then you lose any reason to choose the tiguan, might as well get a yeti, or a dualis, or a ASX.

If I'm reading this correctly the 132TSI 7 speed DSG will not be available until mid 2012 and instead will be replaced in the short term by the "Pacific Model" which has a tiptronic gearbox. This is a bit of a bind as I had my heart set on the DSG model asap. Whats the situation with the tiptronic gearbox? Is this offset by the Park Assist and other bundled options or are we better to up to the 155TSI DSG?

So are we getting the 18 or 28 degree front?

And crap ... no 19" Savannah and extended wheel arches option!

I'd wait and get the DSG, our Tig is the slush box and going from my Jetta to the Tiguan is like going from a Bentley to a Proton.

                          But Proton own Lotus now

I would wait too, slushbox in my test drive was clunky and won't be as good on resale.

However i went manual becaue i fear if the DSG breaks.

Whats the go Volkswagen? Wheres the keyless entry? Stereo Upgrade? Lane Assist? Do the Xenons have Dynamic Light Assist?
Why can't they give us the options to choose from that Europe have?

Gonna have to keep saving for the Q3, where i can at least order the options i want! Grrrr! Making me ANGRY!

...and who knows, maybe it will be more wanted than the DSG.
For a second when I read that the 6sp. auto would be available again I was thinking of changing the ordered TDI for that Pacific with 6 sp. auto. Cause, I trust the auto more than the DSG in the long run.
Don't discount that 6 sp. auto it is made by Aisin and is good for 450Nm.
