Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before. We are learning together here, so please be patient. If you have questions, please post them here. If you have worked something out and can provide an answer,

    Stef,
i fitted the rear covers without removing the rear seats.
the fit is not perfect and i chopped some of the tie tabs off and just stuffed the covers in to the seat gaps, they hold pretty well.
also makes them easier to remove if you need to wash them !
ours have been on and off for the last 10 months, hosed and hung out and they still fit and look like new
    regards

I'm in the exact same situation - only i'm having trouble installing the rear covers. I have recently purchased a 2009 Tiggy 125 tsi. I've just received my car seat covers from Ilana on ebay, but I'm having trouble installing the rear covers due to the 40/60 split. The instructions advise me to unbolt and remove seats - but is there a way that I can install the seat covers without removing the seats, and won't void my warranty?

The rear seat covers are particularly important as I dont want white dog hair to go all through my seats!

Any information would be greatly appreciated.

    Cheers and thanks,
