seat covers

i need to cover the rear seats for carting the hound around.

the Ilana ones on ebay do not fit a 147TSi, still trying to find out why?

any body here have covers on their rear seats, presume all models have the same
split setup?

thanks, only looking for something to cover the rear seats, that i can take out and wash, or chuck out...
dropped in to our local VW dealer, rear seat set up is same across the range, so will just fit the Ilana product,
i'll let you know how they fit,

so the reason they wont fit a 147 is the front seats have the nick pick tables on the back of them.
as Svirala posted they are a perfect fit for the rear and as i have no need for the front $60 will buy
brand new Ilana seat covers posted any where in Australia- will post in For Sale.

Actualy they are a bit more light silver-grayish in real. I think the camera's flash and the way how the material reflect the light made them look darker gray more then they really are.

They fit quite well, particularly the back ones.

Just one really stupid question. If these seat covers are designed to split at the seams when the air bag deploys, can one expect the seams to perhaps be rather weak and hence the seat covers won't last long?

rear seat covers help ?

Hi All,

I'm in the exact same situation - only i'm having trouble installing the rear covers. I have recently purchased a 2009 Tiggy 125 tsi. I've just received my car seat covers from Ilana on ebay, but I'm having trouble installing the rear covers due to the 40/60 split. The instructions advise me to unbolt and remove seats - but is there a way that I can install the seat covers without removing the seats, and won't void my warranty?

The rear seat covers are particularly important as I dont want white dog hair to go all through my seats!

Any information would be greatly appreciated.

Removing the seat and reinstalling it can't void your warranty if done properly. It shouldn’t be difficult, but I agree you shold be able to fit the seat covers without removing the seat.

Just ordered a rear seat set from Ilanas. Went the Contemporary Esteem in Black. Will post how I go when they arrive and get them installed.
