DVD Headrests

Just fitted some dvd headrest to the wifes Tig. Hopefully will now keeps the kids quite on those long trips.

ooooh... very nice. How much were they if you don't mine me asking. Would consider some for the new Multivan when it gets here

The screens where $800 a pair and took me about 1 1/2 hours to fit them. There are cheeper ones on ebay but I think it is worth the money buying better ones as they tend to last longer.

Looks quite good but i would be going a $150 ipod each which also removes the distraction of the sound of the video and allows them to watch separate movies if they wish.

Interesting idea, our new child seats actually have built in speakers so that sort of thing would work very well
(They also happen to be one of the safest seats available)

That could work quite well.
I am only opposed to the dvd headrest due to most of them not supporting headphones and i know the transport dept. in QLD was cracking down on dvd's playing in the car as a distraction.

They both come with wireless headphones which when used turn off the internal speakers. You can watch two diffrent movies as they each have there own built in dvd player or watch the same move on both headrests (they are inter-connected). The only problem was getting them to match the colour of the interior but I got them professionally sprayed to match. North West Customs supplied them and I just installed them.

They look sweet as. Good work. Just a few questions if I may?

1. Are they wireless, or if not, where are the wires concealed?
2. How are they powered?
3. Where are the DVD boxes?
4. Bubs gonna get a sore neck watching it from the baby capsule!!!

Only the headphones are wireless. The dvd player is in behind the screens. They do need to be hooked up to power which runs down in the seat. And bubs will have to wait till she is old enough to sit facing forward....
