Now that I know it is this easy, I won't wait for the service to change it.

Had the same thing in my Passat but the smell was ACTUAL wet dog as the previous owner had a dog (evident from all the hair under the rear seat!)
I used a couple of cans of autoglym aircondition sanitizer
It got rid of 95% of the smell, it's like Glen20 I guess but 10 time stronger. You let it off in the car with the A/C on and shut the doors. After about 10 min you air the car out. There was a moth trapped in the car when I was doing this and it passed out until 20 min later, and it flew off
Not bad for $16 from Repco
Oh I also changed my pollen filter, but the difference wasn't that big.2008 Passat 3.2 Wagon |
