  • Body mods for the Tiguan

Came across this tonight, though some of you guys might be interested?

This Belgian company seem to make some pretty nice bodykits and wheels for the Tiguan, they don't have an Aussie distributor when you select Australia it just gives you their Belgian head office.

Interesting...would definitely like to find out how much they are.

    They are astronomically priced.
I believe it was about $500-600 AUD for the grill alone.
The parts also come in primer so you would have to pay extra for paint and fitting.

    It just isn't worth it.
Until the tiguan becomes more mainstream, body mods will not be a viable option.

Only bit I like is the wheels and they are over priced as well.

Gotta admit they look pretty awesome!

I'll email them and get a price list.

Looks nice, although I certainly won't get the front spoiler. My previous car had one and now with the Tiguan I'm glad I can park anywhere without having to worry about the height of the kerbs (or worse: hearing that the kerb was too high )

like Kyeema i also had a body kit on my previous ride, looked great but absolutely ruined the drive. Always worried about speeds humps and not enjoying the car.

ABT Sportsline even better than Caracterre IMO

I'm particulary interested in the front grille. $799 delivered in Australia.

An alternative is the Caractere kit as seen in US prices in the follwing link, the front and rear spoilers are abit more out there than the ABT.

Can't find any prices in Au dollars I have the prices ona pdf in Euro though, wish the value of the Aus dollar was the same as to the US fgor euro
Cubes if you need help with Caractere, I could give you a hand, send me a PM.
Apparently the member above sama13 may help with the Carctere kit if you are interested, also check out the link within the quote for an international dealer(Canada I think).

agree ABT looks better, though less of a grill fan.....but like the wheels......

saw some great wheels on an old jag the other day (bout a late 90's model), reckon they'd look great on a Tig - but original equipment and expect the owner wouldn't want to depart them with, even if they did fit:
