Brisbane meetup for Tiguans

Just a colour change as the Catalina Blue sales were abysmal and the orders were very small in number. There is an R-Line Tiguan but only for EU and USA.

thanks and oh well we love our catalina blue and guess discontinuing makes it that much more special. People comment all the time on how much they like the colour, but can see how the darker blue would have more appeal.

Some friends of mine just got the new blue, took delivery last week and I gotta say its a great colour!

I'm finally back in Canberra after being away for the longest time!
Apart form the one they had in Showroom I haven't seen one in the wild locally yet.

I seen a few Black ones (although biased think look GREAT, live next to a white, have a mate with a Mountain Grey and have seen a Silver.
Yet to spy a Silver Leaf or either Blue (old or new) yet.

My car has gone ignored whilst I've been away... and I haven't yet done 4000km in it yet?!?!! So tomorrow I'm heading off to pamper it with a wash and a clean (may cheat and use Waves), then I'm taking it up to Sydney Thur / Fri / Sat. Might come home a long way.

Want to do another meet in late January. Hopefully we can get a few more Tigs to join in the fun.

Also, I'm prepared to bring a reducer and testfit my Carbonio to a TDI to see if it will work. After looking closely at BrisGTI's Black TDI last time I'm confident it can work!

The only difference is the slightly larger MAF join that we would need the reducer for.

Since reading this thread I've been watching the banners on each page that loads - and haven't seen any yet?!?! We should fix this!

OK with me. I'm off the Lakeside this Wednesday with the bikes. Haven't ridden it yet, so be good to see what it's like (might sway me to a track focused GTi next year to keep the Tig company in the garage).

I'm not a huge fan of Lakeside ... but any track is better than no track ..

You won't like a GTI, clip ..... its FWD !!!!! ... time for you to go wash your mouth out ...

what you need as a companion to the Tig is the upcoming Golf R .... less weight, more power and AWD goodness ....

I haven't ridden it yet, and although QLD raceway suits the R1, I get bored with the layout. Mind you, it's probably the hardest track in Aus to improve your times on.

What I like is:
