Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before. We are learning together here, so please be patient. If you have questions, please post them here. If you have worked something out and can provide an answer,

Yeah, I reckon. It is noticeable, it is just hard to get a decent camera angle that shows it...

Tyre to wheel arch gap is the most noticable aspect. It isn't a huge drop with these but the handling improvement is pretty large IMO.

Jimbo's lifted his, a few of you have lowered yours... Reckon i will go with a very complicated compromise & leave mine stock!
Would a swaybar be a worthy heandling/cornering addition without the spring upgrade?
              Cheers, Matt.

                Hi Matt
have added a adjustable h/d whiteline solid rear sway bar and anti lift kit, great improvement on cornerning and toe in. Also notice front tyres are wearing much more evenly.
currently sway bar is on softest setting, will be going to mid setting this week.
                hope this helps (-:

                    no, none whatsoever...
mind you, Tig is riding on 18's with Kumho tyres, great combo all around. Tyres are quiet, and grippy in both dry and wet...(-:
