      Dubaddiction has them.
Tim is a member on here.

Cheaper than i could find anywhere else and very short.
Looks heaps classier than the giant whip antenna and no noticeable loss of reception according to many members on here.

I screwed my antenna off last week to sort out placement of my new surf ski and haven't needed to replace it. Haven't left the Sydney metro area and reception has been clear as day.

Plus it just looks better. If you're in Sydney definitely try it out.

        Cheers

              Bluetooth Install

I grabbed a 729B bluetooth module off ebay the other day. It arrived yesterday and about 4 hours after getting home from work it was installed at working.

It's a great bit of kit and the integration with the rest of the cars systems are terrific.

I could never go back to a car without that integration after playing with it today.

Delivered it was a shade under $600. They're not particularly difficult to install, and there are some guides around that help with the installation. You will also need access to a VCDS or ask your dealer to code the car for you after install.

                      Avc-9001

                      Hi guys,
Am thinking of purchasing an AVC-9001 to put in my 2010 Tiguan. Are there still battery drain issues? I hear that these issues have been resolved now. Is that so?

I didn't see anyone complaining lately about the battery drain caused by radio. Just in case you didn't see this thread

haven't had any problems with mine. Can I ask where you're you getting it from?

                              Hi Guys,
Thanks for the responses. Appreciate your input. Looking at purchasing after doing a bit more research about which one to buy and from where. Anyone got any suggestions since Auspack closed down? Apologies for the late reply but was on vacation.

Genuine VW Accessories + more (online)

For Genuine VW accessories/parts from UK dealer, check their online shop:
                                Shop4Volkswagen

Depending on what you buy, it sometimes works out much cheaper (especially small & light items) since GBP has gone down the toilet and you don't have to pay 17.5% VAT as a non-resident.

All the chrome (bling bling) that you can get for your Tig + access to ECS Tuning, check out this online store based in HK:
                                VAGLINK

Basically get access to a lot of chrome stuff and save on shipping cost from the US to HK for ECS Tuning stuff.

I would recommend you check out the price VAGLINK charges for their Genuine Stainless Steel Sill Protectors - Tiguan and then ring your local dealer for a quote on the scuff plates.
