Loving the Detroit style wheels, very nice, wasn't sure how they would look but the curves match the swooping design of the Tiguan.

Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled
After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.
Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before.
We are learning together here, so please be patient. If you have questions, please post them here. If you have worked something out and can provide an answer,

Thanks team_v.
You know the two best ones they showed me at the shop were the ones you got, and the ones I got! These had the best fit etc for our VW vehicles. There was no need for spacers, hub locators, or any modifications...
I dont mean any disrespect to others who have chosen great looking wheels! I had just had too many hassles with other brands of wheels before, hence I chose the "genuine" fit patterns etc...2018 Ralyee Green RS wagon. Fully optioned.
Previous vehicles:2015 Volvo V60 Polestar (my one detour from VW/Skoda!)
2013 Platin grey RS wagon / 2012 White Polo GTI / 2009 Black 125 Tiguan

Our Tig after a good coat of Nanolex. I say a good coat, because I used about 40% of the bottle - eeeek. Have now done our second (and smaller car) and yes, not much of the bottle left, probably enough to do the alloys on the Tig (which need a more serious clean before getting the Nanolex). Must say I have been impressed with the Nanolex so far, up close you can really see and feel the difference. Hopefully with experience I'll do better with eeking it out!

and this shot in the garage, because it has an almost gunmetal blue quality about it

I nicked it from VWVortex where one of the guys took his Tig out to the Track.
Probably was just a warm up lap but it is real.
