I also thought about getting 20inch but didn't want the uncomfortable ride and rubbing, especially with children in the back.

Ive also installed Bonnet and weather Shields Leds and a Blackvue and a RNS 510 plus two DVS players to the Rear seat passengers

Clocked 40,000km in just over 4 years.. daily driven by my wife.

fitted Polar FIS bought a forum member here (who used to have a 147TSI too) and love the mirror dipping function



had spark plugs changed and also fitted R8 red top coil packs





decided to get it done at the dealer I had bought the car from and had it serviced for its 60,000km / 4 yr interval including DSG fluid flush plus Haldex fluid (which was meant to be done at 36mths).

also had a DSG software update TPI 2025382/2 and it made the DSG shifts a lot smoother (prob the new fluid plays a big role in this)

had a Tiguan 130TDI as a loaner and was very amazed how smooth and good the performance is. had a jetta tdi loaner a few years ago and its performance put me off any TDI, but with the 130TDI plus 7speed DQ500 DSG, i think it is a winner! i mentioned how good the 130TDI to the service advisor and funny he said my Tiguan is probably in better conditions and much cleaner than the loaner

and fitted near new OEM 17" Audi Q3 wheels and Dunlop Sport Maxx RT tyres (for better grip, in case it gets Stage 1 tune in the near future )

I was never concerned about the Tiguan being up to the job, but I did have some concerns that the proportion of the vehicle to the horse float would look a bit 'off'. It may not be the fuel guzzler that most people put in front of a horse float but it tows like a dream.

Heres a few of mine over the last 5 years; Snow trips; motorsport towing, surf trips and other adventures! Been a great car; just wish I had a DSG box instead of sports auto; the extra fuel economy would be great!
