    I love the 17" rims
I love the chrome trim around my windows
I love the chrome roof rails
I love having factory fitted fog lights
    I love having tinted windows
I love having Optical Parking System (rear parking sensors)...

    I could continue...
you have described me in your post. I wanted petrol, auto, most power, and am unlikely to risk my warranty to chip it!

But then again I am biased! I bought a 147!!!!

DJY there is a whole lotta love in your post!! Nice to see that you are very happy with your decision.

I described me too! I ended up buying the 147 (Silver leaf) for the reasons above.

No, he wouldn't either. Like most, I suspect he can't see past Holden, Ford and those amazing Korean's! Wow, now they make great car's (if you believe the Australian reviews anyway).

Funny you should say that. After reading the reviews I did my best to convince myself that a Hyundai would do the trick and then made the mistake of going directly from test driving a Tuscon to a Tiguan and there was no going back. It may not have helped our bargaining position when my wife was driving the Tiguan yelling 'THIS IS FANTASTIC'. Now, I will admit I could have had two Hyundais with unlimited km five year warranty for the same price as the Tiguan.

I think the same thing every time the $22k drive away ad comes on.
If you only had $22k to spend, you's probably be happy with it.
But we've got money in the pocket and are willing to pay double for a better mousetrap. (Following this logic, If you had more monaey again, you'd prabably buy a Q5)
TDI tiguan in the drive. ParkAssist, comfort, fogs
Service every 15,000, new fault code every 7,500km

Not necessarily, I was in the market for a Q5 and would have bought 1 but for the rear seating space (and leg space in the middle) and the crappy DSG box.
