Carplay for 2009 Tiguan Tdi
The CD player in our beloved 2009 Tig is dead. We've been using the AUX-IN to play music from our phones but looking to replace with a unit that has Apple Car Play. Anyone done this? Anyone got recommendations or suggestions?

RCD330 is the most popular/common unit which is in the current model VW's. I helped another member here install one into a Mk5 R32 and it works with all the steering wheel controls no problems.
Just pull out your current unit and check what connectors it has on the back and make sure the unit you get is either compatible with it or has the adapters to suit.

Does the RCD 330 support DAB+ radio info in AustraliaComment

DAB is useless unless your mainly driving in the close proximity to the main cities outside the city you wont get reception at all .Comment
