2009 Tiguan - Cruise Control Issue - Displays ( ! )

Hi,

My 2009 Tiguan's cruise control works sometimes and sometimes not. When it doesn't work it displays an exclamation point ( ! ) in the dash menu where the CC speed usually is. Does anyone else have this issue....?

I didn’t have the issue with indication on the dash but I had intermittent cruise control issues in my Scirocco (Mk6 platform electrics) and the solution was to replace the steering wheel control module.

It’s likely going to be either the switch or the control module and you’ll have to try and figure out which part to replace first. Suggest getting your car scanned for fault codes may be a good place to start.

Thanks tigger73, I suspected it might be time to get it looked at properly. Just wasn't sure if it was something I was doing wrong !
