I’m in heavy discussion with our VW dealer here in Holland regarding the TJA.

In my opinion I believe when coming to a full stop, my Tig should automatically detect the car in front of me pulling of and automatically follow, without me having to tap the accelerator or the RES button.

Can someone confirm?

You have to tap the accelerator a few seconds after full stop every time. The digital display will also tell you to do that.

Je auto trekt alleen zelf op als de auto voor jouw binnen 3sec optrekt. Als het langer dan 3 sec duurt, dan moet je op gaspedaal of RES drukken. Is overigens onderdeel van acc. Kan niet aangepast worden.

Your car only pulls up if the car in front of you starts driving within 3 seconds. Longer than that you have to press RES or pedal.

And full stop and pull up = ACC

i tried this’morning to activate Tja on my Tiguan 2017.

my camera version is G and you say it s good since F version or newer.

i have a problem, with vcp if i take G version there isn t tja activation, i try to reflash with H and L version firmware with tja but errors with lane assist and camera.

how do you do with vcp and G version camera?

Does my 2019 Australian VW, which uses Discover Pro (Generation 2 GP) have the ability to give traffic reports / suggest alternate routes if there are blockages / show road construction warnings / Dynamic route guidance?


I had it in our previous 2015 Toyota somehow but I don't see it in this (more modern) car. The VW Discover manual is confusing about this as I think we need DAB radio or "TMC" but the Toyota did not have DAB. Perhaps I need to turn on "TMC", but I can't see how in the manual. I have seen TMC sometimes but it has a line thru it as if it is crossed out. In Media settings I have "Traffic program" ticked. I see TC at the top of the map.
I have Dynamic route guidance on.

Got the car back, and after initial disappointment of not seeing TJA in the assist menu I can confirm that it is, in fact, working and it is freaky as! Adaptive Lane Guidance is now also available under the Driver Assistance menu on the Discover menu.

No,

TJA only needs Adaptive cruise control, lane assist and DSG. No other sensors needed. Im 100% sure as i coded TJA on many cars

I own a Tiguan MK2 and i'm trying to activate TJA for many many ways but seems impossible... You said you have coded many cars to activate TJA... Any advices on how i can do it??

Ik rijd in een Seat Leon my19 met dsg, acc en lane assist. Ik heb de beschikking over een vagcom (wel een cloon)
