We just received our MY18.5 Tiguan 110tdi Comfortline with luxury pack, drivers assist, towbar and full fuel for just under $46k drive away. It was 3 months from order to delivery to WA.
We used www.autogenie.com.au which worked really well. Two out of the three quotes were about $5k below what we managed to negotiate. Someone else we know had a similar outcome. Was a good $50 investment.
(Not associated in anyway just a happy customer).

I quite like a firmish seat and I have lower back issues and the Adventure seat is really comfortable and the massage is good too (from a survey of one!)Originally posted by FirstVWbuyer View PostService alone is worth $2k. Awesome deal. How are you finding the massaging seats? I was very tempted but read online they are not very comfortable and lack padding?

Hi Folks,
First time poster however have found this forum to be immensely valuable.
Yesterday we bought a MY18.5, 132TSI Comfortline + LUX + full tank + car matts + metallic paint for $47,500 (came to about 11.5% off drive away price). Got it from VW Sydney City (Mascot). Car is ready to be picked up however we chose to get it at end of the month instead. Speak to Irish James and he will sort you out. PM me if you want drop my line.
We found James to be an awesome guy, no mucking around. Even offered to test drive the various Tiguans. Compared to VW Leichhardt (who wouldn't even let us drive the car!). VW North Shore was nice however just don't want to do a deal!
Hope this helps!

I just did some digging into this autogenie thing, it appears to be owned by the same company that I am getting my lease through. So its likely they are using the same services already go find my deal.Originally posted by Indali View PostWe used www.autogenie.com.au which worked really well.
I did get a Comfortline with DAP offer for under $45,000 now. That is pretty good. But with LUX its still just under $50k. In other words, no real saving on the $5000 Lux package cost.
My dealer, who I have dealt with in the past, says there is hardly any markup in the LUX pack at all, he said something like $60 etc. I take it with a pinch of salt, but trust him more than other dealers, given our past relationship.Last edited by anonymousmoose; 05-03-2018, 05:53 PM.sigpicVW Tiguan 2018 162TSI Highline

Yes Autogenie is a subsidiary of Smartsalary/Smartleasing and the dealer referred to smartleasing not autogenie when talking to us. I would assume that therefore we got a similar price as a lease/fleet. We certainly dealt only with the commercial side of the dealership after getting the quote via autogenie.Originally posted by anonymousmoose View PostI just did some digging into this autogenie thing, it appears to be owned by the same company that I am getting my lease through. Our Luxury pack was discounted by about 5%. Not sure why the diesel Comfortline came in cheaper than the petrol given that it has a higher rrp.

Massage seat always on when I am in the car, I have lower back issues and they make the ride so much easier. No doubt in winter it will be the seat heater and massage function. Jumping from a MY14 Audi S3 the seats are very comfortable and adjustable with good bolster supportOriginally posted by FirstVWbuyer View PostService alone is worth $2k. Awesome deal. All they did is automate the lumbar adjustment motor to create a “massage function”. Hey do love it as I have a long history of lower back issue and it makes life much easier.Originally posted by Jackson22 View PostI quite like a firmish seat and I have lower back issues and the Adventure seat is really comfortable and the massage is good too (from a survey of one!)

Interesting, i had the opposite experience where VW Sydney weren't as straight with me as Leichhardt who i felt were great to deal with and no-nonsense. Guess it depends which salesperson you get.Originally posted by dazzaa View PostHi Folks,
