    How to enable Traffic alerts/reports in new Tiguan

    I have followed the link
    Traffic Reports with Discover Headunit

    and have enabled RDS and TMC in Information Control Unit via OBDEleven but don't know that is TP and how to enable it.

    Anyone out there has enabled Traffic reports on new Tiguan ?

        Software version 0814.
        Also noticed 1 report today! But still TMC is crossed out [emoji45]

        Can't we not get traffic overlay showing congested routes.

        I have Honda civic with green, yellow and red markings when there is traffic congestion on map

          OK, TMC is not crossed out any more [emoji4], but query regarding traffic overlay on map, any idea ?

            Sure is, enable video in motion and now traffic very easily.

            Plan to do traffic sign recognition at some point in time

              Enabled it yesterday with OBD eleven. As simple as "navigate to Headunit > Adaptation > "Fee-based traffic information (TMC)" and set the value to '1024'"

                  I checked out the website, Tiguan wasnt listed? Also looks like you need an Android based phone... bummer...Us apple people left out in the cold? Would like adaptations too shut off stop/start and a few others too!

                    I like that credit system for techno gumbies.... takes all the stress from recoding and stuffing it up. Do you know what kind of coin that takes?

                          Or just press a few buttons in the Profile section and receive up to 6 *free* credits per day. Free as in beer.
                          Doesn't take too many days to build up a store of credits.
                          Current : 2017 Mk7 Golf R (most options) || 2012 Golf Mk6 TDi (few options)

                            Hey guys I know this is a slightly older thread now. A mate of mine has got the MY18.5 ComfortLine with the virtual cockpit. I enabled TMC with the usual value of 1024 but it didn't seem to work. I checked the usual things like enabling in the radio and resetting the head unit but it didn't work. Has anyone had any experience enabling traffic alerts in the very recent Tiguan?

                              What is the software version?
                              I enabled it today in a mk7.5 golf with 9.2inch mib2.5.
                              Software version was 1124 I think from memory
