Tiguan MY18 Updates / Spec Changes

Can anyone confirm if this will be on the australian my18 highline R-Line? Im very keen to know

Saw that a little while ago, fairly certain it's for US market Tigs only

Also the manual mentions a 176kw 500nm 2 litre diesel - even the 140kw seems like a beast - I wonder what VW have in store?

Just picked up my MY18 Highline. Pleasantly surprised to see two USB ports in front of the shifter and one in the rear of the centre console under the rear passenger AC controls.

One usb port in front of the shifter and one 12v outlet in the rear of the centre console.

Just picked up my MY18 Highline. Pleasantly surprised to see two USB ports in front of the shifter and one in the rear of the centre console under the rear passenger AC controls.

The front two ports are connected to the Infotainment system and are interchangeable i.e. CarPlay and file transfer etc works on either port.
The rear USB is charging only - no idea or indication in the manual (that I could find) of the charging output capacity.

To clarify, once your order has been placed, you will not receive any email from vw until your car has been built?

Thanks for that. Interestingly the Tiguan web page on the VWA site still has pictures of the old MY17 infotainment screen, so they havent fully updated the site - only the spec sheet.

Page 21 of the new brochure lists TJA as a feature of DAP, and again in the specifications section for the DAP option. Interesting given all the conversation around TJA in the forum, and the responses from Volkswagen about it not being available.
