I think TJA works in conjunction with the ACC under 65 km an hour. Apparently it follows the car in front, and if the car in front stops or slows down you will too, to Resume again I think you just have to push the Resume button or push the gas. As for the active line guidance it does not ping-pong from side to side it keeps the car centred in the middle of the lines on the road.

My MY17 162TSI already does this with ACC. I would have thought you wouldn't need to press the resume button with TJA???
But your my17 won't steer and follow the car in front.Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
It follows in terms of its speed but won't steer if I'm driving less than 65km/hr. Will TJA steer the car at low speeds (and without the help of road lines)?
The current Q5 looks dated. It's interior is the same as my A4. So it felt like driving a jacked up slower A4.. lol
The SQ5 on the other hand is fast but again the interior hasn't changed in like 8 years.
Are you talking about the new Q5 that has just come out or the old one?
Just watched a couple of videos of the Tiguan MY18 that will be released for the American market. Both videos mentioned that it will come with an 8 speed transmission. In both videos I noticed that the centre console cup holders look different. Other than that there wasn't much else I took notice.
Got this from official Volkswagen Australia. How can it be true?
Hi, apologies for not calling you today. I can confirm that orders can not be taken for the Tiguan MY18. The MY18 will be released later on this year, however we are yet to have any confirmed dates. Thanks, xxx@Volkswagen

Hey Pzero,
That sucks balls... From memory you didn't order an r-line tiggy, correct? That could have something to do with it, maybe they have your slot allocated and/or ready. Thats why you are getting ours earlier than some of us. Eyes 24 and myself include (I'm sure there's a few more of us) have ordered my18's but I made sure they put it on the contact.
So I dug further and spoke to another person at VWA.
They've now confirmed my order is an MY18.
I think because it's not public info yet - there's conflicting messages going out unfortunately. Maybe when the 1st MY18 lands in Australia, they might be more open and consistent about the info in regards to the MY18 model.
