Heres a better shot of the Discover Pro, presumably its the one we will get in Australia, can anyone confirm / deny?

Fairly sure it is, I think the one down from this still has two knobs, one on either side halfway up.

Nice video.
Shame it has no dials which would matche the rest of the car better. This one is video doesn't seem to favour rest of car layout and buttons.

Hi Eyes24. I saw in a few of your posts a few weeks ago you mentioned your friend that had some Tiguans coming and was able to do a good deal.

I am after a Tiguan 162tsi with R Line, DAP and sunroof in white, with tow bar and roof racks also. Prefer a MY18 model. Can you put me in contact with your friend?

I like the glossy black finish but I would much prefer buttons and dials.

Can anyone please let know if the Discover pro and digital dash screen is matt or gloss in the current model? From the comments and pictures I can see the Discover pro on my18 is gloss? Not sure how that will work with sun coming in the car especially cars with sunroof? Thinking back I think cars normally have sat navs and digital dash in matt? Cheers

The my17 model has a TFT style matt screen, similar to old standalone GPS units if you know what I mean. Reflection on my18 screens may be an issues. Tints could help though!

Also another update with my18, there's potentially (unconfirmed for Australia) a seat design change for the Storm Grey leather option (for Highline, no r-line). You can check the German or Irish configurator websites for an idea. Minor change but doesn't look as good as before IMO. I was so close to selecting it over all black but finally I'm going for black due to ease of care, kids, durability, resale value, and this design change. Maybe will go for a lighter interior for the next purchase in the future!

Hello people from the forum!

My name is Davy and i'm from the Netherlands.
I'm following the tiguan forums for a little while now and would like to send some insights about the my18. I ordered a tiggy in january and will receive it tuesday. I allready made some pictures from the car today as it just arrived yesterday afternoon. The tiguan was made on friday week 21 and has all the updates for the my18 model.
As you can see the tiguan has the led lights and no headlight sprayers.



I ordered the discover media and you'll have a glossy screen with 2 knobs.



I hope this helps to clear things up! I'f you have any questions, i would like to answer them. Maybe we have to wait till tuesday to answer the questions because then i collect the keys.

That's Davy, your car looks great. This is the first MY18 photos I have seen so thanks for posting. Some people were concerned about the removal of some of the chrome on the interior but the changes look pretty minimal and it looks like it still has the chrome piping around the vents
