Auto braking in reverse gear

Hi there, I was reversing the other day and a car moved behind me. I'm not sure whether the auto braking saved me or I jammed on the brakes as a reflex action...it happened so quickly. Does the Tiggy Emergency Braking work in reverse as well? I have a 132TSI, Black with DAP and LP.

Yes it does. Happened to me today when parallel parking on a downhill slope, was reversing uphill into the park and it thought I got too close to the car parked behind me and braked for me.
