Mk2 Tiguan VCDS Tweaks

I tried the Traffic Sign recognition setting and it works - but not great.
Turning into a side street with the 50 zone close to the intersection results in a 50% success rate reading the new speed limit. Turning left has a worse success rate.

This has a very low wife acceptance factor, so I decided to switch it back

Now I don't even get the speed limits from the GPS!
To my utter dismay, VCDS did not automatically log my changes, so now I'm having to guess how to change back to "default"

Unless of course there's a handy reference somewhere to "back out" those changes (my google-fu has not been successful thus far)

Looking at getting the OBDeleven for my 2022 R line Allspace.
A couple of things I would like to know from those that have the device:
- Is there the ability to activate something like hill-start assist? I cannot believe that this car does not come factory with this feature.
- Can you deactivate ACC and just use conventional cruise control?
- Road side recognition? Note: I just got the standard R-line with no sound/visual package.

Cant help with all of it but think they just use Autohold for hill starts Works the same
Seems you can do CC.

When I try to enable the AC recirculation memory setting with OBDeleven, I receive a Function not permitted (or similar, can't remember exact wording) error trying to enable bit 4.

I have an MY19.5 Allspace. Does anyone know if the method has changed in more recent vehicle ?

Is possibly disabled for safety reasons as to have recirc on for long periods could lead to you going off to sleep, on say a long trip on a cold day

anyone know if we can add a digital tv tuner to a 2020 Tiguan R Line?

Even using an aftermarket tuner box that connects in. I know its possible on lots of other cars but not sure if theres ones with correct fitting for VW

Wow all to save two poofteenths of a teaspoonful of fuel cos thats all it does.

Haha! I think the ‘convenience consumers’ gauge is graduated in poofteenths. I’ll let you know how much I save.

I’ve just re-enabled Stop/Start and am considering reinstating the ‘convenience consumers’ and ‘think blue trainer’. Lol

Coded it with VCDS and its working as expected, except for the fact that the car turns on when I release the brake pedal (start stop). Does anyone know how to code it so that it will only start up when I step on the gas pedal and NOT as I release the brake? (My EU 15 MK7 golf worked like this).[/FONT]

Cant hardly notice it anyway as only lines and dots show. Ive got 30 ambiente colours and its just fluff as I havent changed it from the one I originally put it on

You have 30 lights on Tiguan or another car?
Mine is 2017 and in vcds only had 10 options farbliste in coding.
Is there an unlock for 30 or is it just car dependent.
Ive seen passat have 30
