I've got the arch extensions and there's still room for some more rim/tyre.

In terms of rims it's a personal choice but I say don't cheap out. Better off getting a good second-hand set than a cheap set of reps.

If it was mine and not Mrs Tigger's then it would be a different story. As it is the rims are worse for wear from school carpark pick-ups

Given the R-line with the Suzuka is 20x8.5 ET38 and Tyre is 255/40 R20, then the next logical step up is 20x10 ET35(ish) and 285/35 R20.

This set-up will retain the same overall diameter (0.6% speedo error) and poke 22mm more and sit 16mm closer to the suspension strut. Suggest pulling out the tape measure and doing some measurements on the existing set-up running a plumb line from the edge of the guard. Also if you can stick your hand between the suspension and the wheel you should have plenty of room on the inside for a bit more tyre/rim.

True - we still need to dress up the Roc anyway.

BBS do the CH-R and CH-R II in 20 x 10.5 ET35 which might be pushing it, or 20 x 9 ET30 - that would give good visuals. Ditto the OZ ST Dakar in 20 x 10 ET19 or ET43; or 20 x 8.5 ET20. Or dare I say it: HRE FF01 in 20 x 9 ET25 or ET35.. or 20 x 10.5 ET35.

I suspect we're getting verrry aggressive by now.

Haha yep! Never ended up selling those wheels. Couldn’t take away from the look of the car. Now the whole car is up for grabs!

PM me what sort of numbers I’d be looking at for those HREs. And I wonder if a 20x10 would fit the Tig as well. I’m not looking to buy straight away - would be towards back end of the year just planning ahead [emoji38]

I think the R-line Tig would easily be able to accommodate this spec wheel, but recommend checking your current set-up to make sure you have sufficient clearance. You could also run the "standard" 255 width rubber on these rims but if you wanted to go the "fatter" look, the 275's would do this.

^ Agreed, I can't imagine the 15.7mm poke would be an issue on these - it would be good if we knew what sort of inner clearance is there though. Information on this seems pretty scarce/non-existent.

Not a wheel mod as such, but this would look pretty effective with some decent rims on it.

It's a pity the rear glass doesn't line up with the wrap - I'm assuming the body line is slightly higher there?
